The sooner I receive your flowers, the better! Within 24–72 hours after your wedding, funeral, or event is ideal. The fresher your flowers are when they arrive, the better they are likely to look after drying and preservation.

If you're shipping your flowers to me from anywhere in the U.S., plan ahead so they can be carefully packaged and shipped promptly after your event. Yes, especially during warmer weather. A sealed ice pack can help keep the inside of the box cooler during transit. It should be securely to the sides of the box.

You are welcome to send your entire bouquet. Having additional flowers gives me more options when selecting the blooms that have preserved and traveled best. If you only have a few meaningful flowers, you can send those instead.

I will carefully evaluate them and use the flowers and portions that are in the best condition for preservation. Severe damage can affect what I am able to use, which is why careful packing and quick shipping are important.

Because they are made from fabric, they may take on a slightly darker or “wet fabric” appearance once encased in resin. Real flowers generally do not have this same effect. If you choose to preserve silk flowers, I want you to be aware of this natural difference before your keepsake is created.

Fresh flowers generally need approximately 2–3 weeks to dry before the design process can begin. After your flowers are dried, your keepsake is thoughtfully designed, sent to you for approval, poured, cured, and finished. Most orders are completed in approximately 8-12 weeks. However, turnaround times may vary depending on the size and complexity of your order and the number of resin preservation pieces I am currently creating. During especially busy periods, completion times may be longer. I take the time needed with each piece to ensure your flowers and memories are handled with care.

If you need to make a change, contact me as soon as possible. Some changes may be possible before the design or resin process has begun. Once a custom piece has entered certain stages of production, changes may no longer be possible.

Because flower preservation keepsakes are custom-made using your personal flowers and design selections, they are not eligible for traditional returns or exchanges. If you need to make a change or have a concern about your order, please contact me as soon as possible.

Yes. I recommend displaying your keepsake away from direct sunlight. UV exposure can cause flowers to fade and may contribute to changes in the resin over time. A location with indirect natural light is a better choice for long-term display.

All resin can naturally change or develop a warmer tone as it ages. High-quality resin is designed to resist yellowing, but no resin can be guaranteed to remain completely unchanged forever. Keeping your keepsake away from direct sunlight and excessive heat can help minimize these changes.

Yes. Resin can scratch, so avoid sliding your keepsake across rough surfaces or cleaning it with abrasive materials. When moving or storing your piece, handle it carefully and protect the resin surface from objects that could scratch it.

Resin flower coasters are best used with cold or room-temperature drinks. I do not recommend placing hot coffee mugs, tea cups, or other hot items directly on the coasters, as excessive heat can potentially damage or affect the resin. To help keep your preserved flower coasters looking beautiful, use them for cold drinks and keep them away from high heat.

Minor scratches and dull areas can often be polished out. You can use a resin-safe polishing compound or resin polish, available from retailers such as Amazon, along with a soft cloth and plenty of buffing to help restore the shine. Always follow the polish manufacturer’s directions. Deeper scratches may require more extensive polishing with an electric buffing drill and a resin-safe polishing compound to restore the smooth, glossy finish.

Always handle your resin keepsake with care and display it on a safe, sturdy, level surface that is strong enough to support its weight. Larger resin pieces can be surprisingly heavy, so make sure shelves, tables, mantels, or other display surfaces are secure and stable.

For resin frames, I highly recommend displaying them on a sturdy surface rather than hanging them on a wall. Because of their weight, wall hanging may put too much stress on the frame, hanging hardware, or wall and could result in damage if the piece falls. A secure tabletop, shelf, or other supported display is the safest option for enjoying your preserved flowers.

Resin keepsakes are created as art and home décor and should not be treated as toys. Many resin pieces are heavy and may have hard or sharp edges, so I recommend displaying them in a secure, stable location out of the reach of children. Take extra care with larger pieces and make sure they cannot easily be pulled, tipped, or knocked from the surface where they are displayed.

I recommend avoiding stacking resin pieces directly on top of one another or laying them flat on glass surfaces for extended periods of time. Resin surfaces can sometimes stick to each other or to glass, particularly when exposed to warmth or pressure. Store and display your keepsakes separately, and when placing a resin piece on a glass surface, use a protective barrier or stand between the resin and the glass.

Because each resin keepsake is individually handmade, small imperfections are a natural part of the process. You may notice tiny microbubbles, small specks of dust, slight variations or unevenness along edges, micro-crevices, or subtle layer lines created as the resin is poured in multiple layers.

These characteristics do not take away from the beauty or meaning of your keepsake. Your preserved flowers are encased in an original, one-of-a-kind piece of art, and these small imperfections are part of the unique signature of a handmade piece. No two resin keepsakes will ever be exactly alike.
