TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: August 23, 2026

Welcome to Buds Blooms and Blossoms. These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and to purchases made through Buds Blooms and Blossoms. By accessing this website, placing an order, submitting flowers for preservation, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Buds Blooms and Blossoms specializes in custom flower preservation and handcrafted keepsakes. Because many of the items I create incorporate real flowers and sentimental materials supplied by my customers, please carefully review the following terms before placing an order or sending flowers.

CUSTOM & HANDMADE PRODUCTS

Flower preservation pieces are individually handcrafted using real flowers and resin or other preservation methods. Each finished piece is one of a kind.

Because flowers are natural materials and each preservation is handmade, variations in color, shape, texture, placement, clarity, and appearance are normal and are not considered defects.

Small bubbles, slight variations in resin, minor surface variations, or other characteristics associated with handcrafted resin work may occasionally be present.

CONDITION OF YOUR FLOWERS

The quality and appearance of your finished preservation piece depend in part on the condition, age, variety, and color of the flowers when they arrive.

For the best preservation results, fresh flowers should be delivered or shipped as soon as possible after your wedding, funeral, memorial service, or other event.

I will take great care when handling and preserving your flowers; however, I cannot guarantee that flowers will retain their exact fresh appearance.

Flowers that arrive wilted, bruised, damaged, moldy, discolored, frozen, overheated, or otherwise compromised may preserve differently than fresh flowers.

NATURAL COLOR CHANGES

Real flowers naturally change during the drying and preservation process.

Some flowers may become lighter, darker, more muted, translucent, or develop antique tones. White and very light flowers may develop cream, ivory, beige, or translucent tones. Other varieties may deepen or change in color.

These natural changes are part of preserving real botanical material and are not considered defects.

RESIN & LONG-TERM COLOR

I use quality resin and carefully follow the manufacturer's recommended processes to help create beautiful, long-lasting keepsakes.

However, all epoxy resin may naturally develop some degree of yellowing or ambering over time. Exposure to direct sunlight, UV light, excessive heat, and certain environmental conditions may accelerate this process.

For the best longevity, preserved resin pieces should be displayed away from prolonged direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Natural aging or ambering of resin over time is not considered a manufacturing defect.

CUSTOM DESIGN & DESIGN APPROVAL

Every flower preservation is unique, and the design of your keepsake will depend on the flowers and materials available, the size and shape of the selected piece, and the natural characteristics of your flowers.

When applicable, I may provide a design preview or photograph for approval before the final resin pour.

Once a design has been approved and the final preservation process has begun, placement and design changes may no longer be possible.

The final piece may have slight differences from a design preview due to the movement of flowers or botanical materials during the resin process.

PERSONAL ITEMS & KEEPSAKES

With prior approval, certain sentimental items may be incorporated into a preservation piece, such as ribbon, jewelry, brooches, photographs, charms, or other meaningful keepsakes.

Customers are responsible for informing me of the sentimental or monetary value of any items submitted.

I reserve the right to decline materials that may not safely or successfully be incorporated into resin.

TURNAROUND TIMES

Flower preservation is a detailed, multi-step process that includes receiving and preparing the flowers, drying, designing, pouring resin, curing, finishing, and packaging.

Turnaround times shown on the website or provided at the time of ordering are estimates and may vary depending on order volume, flower condition, design complexity, resin curing requirements, availability of materials, holidays, or circumstances outside my reasonable control.

Because quality preservation cannot be rushed, an estimated completion date is not a guaranteed delivery date.

SHIPPING FRESH FLOWERS TO BUDS BLOOMS AND BLOSSOMS

Customers who ship fresh flowers to Buds Blooms and Blossoms are responsible for packaging and shipping their flowers according to the provided shipping instructions.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping their flowers to Buds Blooms and Blossoms unless otherwise specifically stated.

Shipping fresh flowers involves risks outside my control, including carrier delays, extreme temperatures, mishandling, loss, or damage during transit. Buds Blooms and Blossoms is not responsible for damage or deterioration that occurs before the flowers are received.

Customers are encouraged to use tracking and follow the shipping instructions provided on the website.

SHIPPING COMPLETED KEEPSAKES

Completed preservation pieces may be picked up locally when available or shipped to the address provided by the customer.

Shipping charges for completed pieces are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Additional information regarding shipping, delivery, damaged packages, and carrier-related issues can be found in the Shipping Policy.

PRICING & PAYMENT

Prices are displayed on the website or provided through an estimate or custom quote.

Because preservation pieces are customized, the final price may depend on the size and shape selected, number of pieces, design choices, additional keepsakes, shipping, applicable taxes, and other requested options.

Any additional charges requiring customer approval will be communicated before being added to an order.

Payment must be made according to the terms provided at checkout, on the invoice, or in the customer's individual agreement.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS

Because flower preservation pieces and many products offered by Buds Blooms and Blossoms are custom-made using customer-provided flowers and sentimental materials, they generally cannot be returned, exchanged, or resold.

Cancellation options may depend on how far the preservation process has progressed.

Once flowers have been dried, altered, designed, placed into resin, or otherwise incorporated into a custom piece, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Please refer to the Return & Refund Policy for complete information regarding cancellations, returns, refunds, damages, and order concerns.

DAMAGED ORDERS

Please inspect your completed order promptly after delivery.

If your finished keepsake arrives damaged, contact Buds Blooms and Blossoms as soon as possible and provide photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping box so the issue can be evaluated and, when appropriate, a carrier claim can be initiated.

Do not discard the packaging until the issue has been resolved.

IRREPLACEABLE & SENTIMENTAL MATERIALS

I understand that wedding flowers, funeral flowers, memorial flowers, and other keepsakes can carry tremendous sentimental value. Every reasonable effort is made to handle your flowers and personal items with care throughout the preservation process.

Flower preservation, however, involves natural materials and handcrafted processes that carry inherent risks. Flowers may be fragile, damaged before arrival, react unpredictably during drying, or change during preservation.

Buds Blooms and Blossoms cannot guarantee that every flower or submitted botanical material will be suitable for or survive preservation exactly as expected.

If a particular flower or item is especially important to you, please let me know before preservation begins so I can take that into consideration when planning your design.

CARE OF YOUR FINISHED KEEPSAKE

Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided for their finished preservation pieces.

Resin keepsakes should generally be kept away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, extreme temperatures, and harsh chemicals.

Damage caused by improper care, dropping, impact, excessive heat, prolonged UV exposure, misuse, or other conditions occurring after delivery is not considered a product defect.

PHOTOGRAPHY & PORTFOLIO USE

Buds Blooms and Blossoms may photograph completed floral preservation pieces for portfolio, website, social media, educational, and marketing purposes.

Personal identifying information will not intentionally be displayed without permission.

If you prefer that your completed piece not be photographed or shared publicly, please contact me before your preservation is completed.
